📜 Official jury commentary

« A delicate bouquet where violet intertwines with dark fruits, enhanced by notes of eucalyptus and black pepper. A touch of elegant oak brings depth. On the palate, lively acidity and beautiful amplitude harmonise gracefully, offering a balanced structure. Suppleness and freshness linger in a balanced and flavourful finish. »

✨ Recognition of excellence

« What a colour! What substance! Stunning… »
— Commentary from a winemaker in Vougeot (Burgundy), who came to taste at the Domaine

A recognition that deeply touches us, coming from a region renowned for Pinot Noir.

Tasting notes

Deep garnet red robe. On the nose, a delicate bouquet of fresh red fruits (cherry, raspberry), refined by spiced notes and a hint of eucalyptus. On the palate, a beautiful balance between freshness and structure: fine, well-integrated tannins, an elegant oak finish bringing depth and length.

Food & wine pairings

Roasted red meats, game in sauce, mushroom risotto, mature cheeses (Comté, aged Brie). Also excellent with traditional Belgian dishes such as wild boar stew or duck breast with fruits.

Service

Ideal temperature: 16–17°C
Decant 30 minutes before serving to fully open the aromas.

Conservation & cellaring

Outstanding cellaring wine: up to 10 years in a cool cellar (12–14°C), lying bottle. Peak maturity expected from 2028 onwards.

Limited production

Very limited edition, crafted artisanally in Flawinne (Namur, Belgium), on terroir composed of schist, clay and limestone — a unique signature of our Walloon land.
